Requests for Visitors
In order to preserve
the Kimura Satoshi collection and other materials entrusted to us for as long as possible and to ensure their continued enjoy ment, we ask that visitors cooperate with the following:
1. Luggage Deposit
Upon entering the library, you will be asked to deposit your luggage in a locker. Valuables and any personal items you wish to bring into the library, such as notebooks, will be placed in a clear bag provided by our hospital. You are responsible for managing your personal belongings and locker keys. We are no tresponsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings.
In addition, we may inspect the bag containing your personal belongings upon leaving the library to preserve the materials.
2. Filling out the Visitor Record Card
The name and other information pr
ovided when you make a reservation will be printed out on a "Visitor Record Card." Please fill out the card yourself, including your check in and check out times, and whether you would like to make copies.
3. Materials are for viewing only
This library does not lend out materials. Materials are for viewing only within the library, and we ask that you refrain from taking them ou tside the library.
4. Photocopying Information
Copying (black and white only) is permitted with the exception of some books, but copying is limited to half of each book. Staff will make copies upon request.
The fee is 10 yen per copy.
5. Important Notices
Please follow the instructions of staff regarding the use of materials and facilities. For example, the following are prohibited during your visit.
(1) Any action that the hospital determines to be a hazard to the safety of patients, other visitors, or staff.
(2) Unnecessary entry onto floors other than those where the library is located.
(3) Using video recording, recording, cam era, or scanning functions on mobile devices, or posting unauthorized footage to social media, etc.
(4) Rough handling of materials, such as writing on them, cutting them up, placing them directly on the floor, throwing them,or eating or drinking while us ing
them.
~Please note that the library is equipped with security cameras. Please be aware of this in advance~
