On July 24, the very day of the opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting, we were interviewed by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (Nikkei).

During the interview, Dr. Hiroaki Mizutani, Director of the Archive, expressed his hope, stating, "I want to pass on Professor Kimura's research to the next generation." Dr. Kenshin Shimizu, his disciple and supervisor of the archive, shared his expectations, hoping it would serve as a "base camp for clinical philosophy." Furthermore, Mr. Gen Kimura, his son and co-supervisor, conveyed his thoughts, noting that the archive "condenses my father's very existence."

The reporting journalist had met Professor Bin Kimura multiple times for interviews during his lifetime and had previously seen the extensive collection of books on the large bookshelves in Kimura's home living room. Consequently, the interview was also filled with warm, nostalgic memories.
